Suarez led Barcelona demolished the Madrid pride by 5-1 at Camp Nou.

It’s the biggest derby of the world and it’s the biggest setback for the Madrid at Cam Nou in last 5 years. It obvious that like many fans Cristiano also watched the match and he will be disgusted with his ex-teammates. Not a single player of Real Madrid played to their potential. I don’t know why on earth a Player named Karim Benzema in the squad of Madrid because he was just awful and disgrace to the team. Problem is not with the Madrid back line problem is that the Madrid has no confidence up front and they back line and midfield has no confidence in their Centre Forward they just don’t know how to score. In the beginning of Second half Madrid did reduce the score by Marcelo and when it seems that they might come back but their talisman Benzema missed a free header from 6 yard box from a teasing cross of Lucas. Forget Ronaldo any striker currently playing in the La liga could have crashed the net. I think that miss was the turning point of the game because that’s the moment when Madrid lost their sort term confidence for all and Barcelona took the control for remaining of the match. It’s almost 11 years that ElClassico without the two greats Ronaldo and Messi one is move to Turin and another one didn’t participate because of injury. But, what a match it has been for Luis Suarez he just played out of his skin and a befitting reply for those who thought his days was over and he could be replaced by Liverpool man Firminho. It was a sensational performance by Luis Suarez and it was a relief for Barcelona fans as they were little bit anxious because of Messi not in the lineup against Madrid since December 2007.  I think Suarez played his best today and it was indeed his best performance in all Elclassico he played before. With the help of today’s hatrick he now scored total 9 goals with 3 assist against Madrid a record which he will be proud of.

Anyway, it was not like the usual El Classico which we all used to very much one sided for Barcelona. Madrid did have some moment when they scored and about 15 minutes it was like they could have come back in the game but it was not their day. Very unfortunate to see that players with big reputation and big calibre fumbles and lost their confidence and totally collapse  and surrender to the high pressing football of FC Barcelona. I think Lopetgui days is over at Madrid as he probably replaced by Antonio Conte. His strategy was pathetic he has no temperament and calibre to be Real Madrid coach. It is a day for the Catalans to cherish for rest of the season.
