Kolkata Derby : Mohun Bagan vs East Bengal




The Day has come. The day when Bengalis all over the world divided into two parts. The day friends became enemy. The day Husband and wife became rivals. The day whole Kolkata’s eyes on one spot Vivekananda Yuva Bharati Krirangan, Salt Lake. Yes it is Derby day, it is Mohun Bagan vs East Bengal the fourth largest Derby in the World in Kolkata. It’s a 365th time the rivals meet each other in a competitive match.

A defining feature of football fans is their passion for the game. And in Kolkata, before a derby between East Bengal and Mohun Bagan, the passion and excitement of both fans and players tend to go through the roof.
